We saw Keane in concert last week and it was wonderful, amazing - so moving. They're an incredible band. Strangeland, their latest CD, arrived in our mail 2 days ago and I've been listening to it this morning. They opened with this song last week, and I liked it a lot. I thought of it as a song for young lovers. Very sweet.
Today it hit me as a song from parent to child, and my breath caught in my throat and the tears fell unexpectedly. A wish for our kids.
